Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about uploading, viewing, and sharing Gerber files with EasyCircuit Gerber Viewer.
What file formats does this viewer support?
Gerber files in RS-274X format (the industry standard used by every major CAD tool) and Excellon drill files. Just zip up your exported layers — copper, solder mask, silkscreen, outline, and drill files — and upload the zip directly.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Upload a zip, get a shareable link, done. There is no login or signup required to view or share a board.
How long are my files kept?
Uploaded projects are automatically deleted within 24–48 hours. This tool is meant for quick previews and sharing, not long-term file storage.
Which CAD tools are supported?
Any tool that exports standard Gerber/Excellon files works, including Altium Designer, KiCad, Autodesk Eagle, EasyEDA, and Cadence Allegro.
Can I use this to place a manufacturing order?
Not currently — this is a fab-agnostic preview tool, not tied to any single manufacturer. It is meant to help you check a board before sending it to whichever fab house you choose.
Ready to check your own board?
Drop in a Gerber zip and see it rendered in seconds.
